Adriana Degreas
A Storied Closet
by Elizabeth Kurzweg
The KK Cabana made an extraordinary entrance in the Hamptons when it arrived at the Wölffer Estate luncheon last month, and, as usual, our fearless founder wore an equally show-stopping Adriana Degreas look for the occasion.
Adriana Degreas grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, where she was exposed to fashion from an early age– her grandfather owned a textile factory there that specialized in producing high-quality fabrics. (We’ve been endlessly inspired by South American designers like Leal Daccarett and Johanna Ortiz, among others, of late.)
Our love of a colorblock moment has been evident in our new Monogram trays and Charlotte Colorblock shirts. This Adriana Degreas jumpsuit in white, violet, and daffodil yellow felt like the perfect complement to the occasion.
Adriana Degreas’ eponymous brand initially launched in 2001 and has since grown to become an internationally acclaimed name in the fashion industry, known for its blend of Brazilian heritage with high fashion aesthetics.
Dereas continues to call São Paulo home today… and we continue to admire (and shop) her work from afar.
