Meet our Mediterranean-Inspired Summer Collection

When we dreamt of this summer collection, we saw visions of easy-to-pack travel dresses that could go from beach club to dinner reservation without missing a beat, and gauzy tops and printed pareos that would layer effortlessly over your favorite swimsuit, whether you found yourself in Amalfi or the neighborhood pool. In short, the pieces you need for your best summer ever.

We paired these pieces with our classic stripes in Spanish pink and Mykonos blue, tomato red and a deep basil green. A Katie Kime collection wouldn’t be complete without our inimitable prints, this time in playful Romanesque symbols and a lush Tuscan villa motif. I love the simplicity of Palm Grove and our new Greco Garden print might be my personal favorite with its graphic trellis patterns and lavish greenery.

We created this collection in only pure cotton fabrics because we love the crispness of a classic poplin and think breathability in the summer is paramount. We finished the dresses in our own way to limit wrinkles and make them truly the perfect go-anywhere-do-anything dresses of summer. Inspired by the Mediterranean and its vast and divergent landscapes, we took this collection on the road for our campaign shoot to put them to the test.

We aperoled on the beach in pareos and color block shirts and ate linguine alle vongole on the Amalfi coast in the Taza Maxi dress. We shopped at an Italian farmer’s market in Milan in the Sophia shirt dress and had aperitivo in our new Retro Stripe Charlotte shirts.
